The Scoop Storage Platform works in the following manner:-

Incorporated on the Scoop Storage Platform is a specially designed clip, which protrudes from the side of a longitudinal groove on the platform. The scoop is stored by sliding it along the longitudinal groove to allow the clip to slide into the scoop. This clip will anchor the scoop on the longitudinal groove.

The measuring scoop is always held securely and neatly on the platform inside the container and yet keeping it permanently out of contact with the powder in it.

The Scoop Storage Platform is designed to allow a scoop anchored on the platform to rotate on the groove when light downward pressure is added onto its handle.

Should the handle of a scoop anchored on the platform be left pointing upwards after use, the slightest pressure added on its handle from a closing container cover will cause the scoop to rotate on the platform, as the cover pushes the handle downwards. As such, the placing of the position of the handle of the scoop on the platform, after the scoop is used, will never obstruct the closing process.

The platform, the groove and the clip are also specially designed so that they will not scrape the scoop during the scoop-levelling process or when the scoop rotates on the platform groove.

Should the grip of the clip on the platform loosen with use, it can be easily reset by lightly pressing the clip downwards.

Since the scoop will be kept permanently out of contact with the powder in the container, all the problems of cross-contamination caused by keeping scoops on the powder, that of powder-coated scoops and of scoops getting buried in the powder, are totally and permanently eradicated. There is no more a need to tolerate the irritation of handling powder-coated scoops.

Scoops of different sizes and shapes can be accommodated on the Scoop Storage Platform. This is a unique feature invented to cater for scoops of different sizes and shape supplied by different manufacturers of infant formulas. This Invention will cater to all mothers, regardless of the brand of infant formula they use.

The container cover is designed to further secure the scoop in place on the Scoop Storage Platform when the container is closed.
